LuxaScope Auris LED 2.5V BLACK EDITION incl. LED Penlight

The Luxamed LuxaScope Auris LED 2.5 V otoscope and the BLACK EDITION diagnostic light form a reliable diagnostic solution for examining the ear, eyes, and throat . The otoscope uses an LED ring with six concentrically arranged LEDs , providing an unrestricted field of view during the examination. A color temperature of approximately 4,250 K and a color rendering index (CRI) of over 90 ensure a true-to-life representation of anatomical structures.

The otoscope's light intensity is continuously dimmable , while an automatic shut-off after 3 minutes reduces energy consumption. A swiveling 3x magnifying lens with a locking function facilitates detailed examinations. The integrated blower connection allows for pneumatic tests to assess eardrum mobility.

The ergonomic two-component handle, made of aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced plastic, can be combined with other LuxaScope heads. The otoscope is operated via an electronic on/off push button and powered by two AAA batteries, which are included.

The Penlight diagnostic light, with its robust ABS housing, weighs only 31.5 g and achieves a luminous intensity of 18,000 to 22,000 mcd at a color temperature of approximately 7,000 K thanks to its high-power LED . Approved for ophthalmic diagnostics, the light features a long-lasting LED with a lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours and is powered by two AAA batteries.

Both instruments use maintenance-free LED technology and are suitable for daily use in medical practices, clinics and healthcare facilities.
