Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator infant/child key

Good for lifetime use with the HeartStart FRx Defibrillator. Compatible with the HeartStart FRx defibrillator to treat an infant or child under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs).

With the Infant/Child Key inserted, the HeartStart FRx will announce “Infant/Child Mode”, automatically reduce the defibrillation energy, and provide optional infant/child CPR guidance. Graphics on key show proper pad placement for infants and children.

The Infant/Child Key can be used with HeartStart Training Pads II to create a training scenario for treating infants and children. No special defibrillator pads are required to use the HeartStart FRx to treat an infant or child; the HeartStart SMART Pads II provided with the defibrillator are designed for both adult and infant/child use.
